Hana is originally from Brooklyn, NY and currently based in Berlin, Germany. She works with video, sound, and still images investigating the themes of identity and the unusual in the everyday. She won best in show at Art Clash in Florence and has exhibited her work in places such as A.I.R. Gallery in New York, the Copenhagen Photo Festival, Le Murate PAC, Gallery Lato, and the Museum of Natural History in Florence, Italy. Her work has been published online through Essentialist and YET magazine as well as print in Issue 12 of Der Greif. She received a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College, majoring in painting and sculpture. Recently, Hana received an MFA in Photography from Studio Arts College International in Florence, Italy, graduating in 2016.

Hana is also part of SCALENO collective, an international photographic collective that she co-founded in 2015. SCALENO is comprised of North and South American artists who have formally bonded together in order to enable the creation, production and distribution of our individual and collective works. The name, SCALENO, is Italian for scalene and when connected, the cities of our origins make such a triangle on the map.
